 "perfomance of grout blade" 2010-03-04
By Brian A. Bistodeau (Hudson, WI USA)
When I was done installing 12in. ceramic tile on job I was working on, I noticed that in many areas the mortar had filled in the grout joints. I used my Dremel Multi-Max with the 1/8-in. carbide grout blade. It performed great. It removed everything much faster than using a grout remover hand tool. One thing to be careful of is that if you don't have the blade perfectly square with the tile you can chip the face. Take your time and keep your hands steady.

"Blade does what it is supposed to!" 2010-02-01

My grout removal project was about 240 feet of sanded grout which used 2 of the blades, a little pricey but worked well at $25-30. Some of the other manufactures blades are a full circle giving about another third more blade area to use. This is the only reason that I gave it 4 stars not 5.

 "not for brick" 2010-01-31
By ERICK (DELAWARE)
tried to use this blade on brick and mortar to cut in electric box and found it is not good for this job . i will post follow up after trying blade on grout or tile .don't go by my one star because this blade may not be advertised to cut brick and mortar.

 "Very easy!" 2009-12-21

Used to remove the grout from an area with approx. 1/2" joints. It was so easy and relatively clean. It would be so easy to use this on smaller joints to just take out the top portion in order to "regrout". This would give your entire kitchen a makeover (could even go back with epoxy stain resistant grout for easy care). Love this tool all together - so handy during my wood floor installation. Wished I would have bought it earlier in the project.

 "Dremel MM500 1/8-inch" 2009-11-14
By J. Meadows
I got this as a package deal and used it to remove the grout behind a soap dish in the bathtub. Because of the small width between the wall and the dish, the 1/16-inch blade would have been more ideal, but the 1/8th one worked. We're keen on the Multi-Max.
